The story behind this week’s workshops
|
Hi friend, This week inside our Well Valley workshops, we begin diving into one of the most powerful topics we cover in the Prepped to Publish series — your story. Before we talk about writing, publishing, or building a message that serves others, I believe something important has to happen first. You have to understand why your story matters. And the truth is… that lesson didn’t start in a workshop for me. It started in a pit. For a long time I debated whether I should ever release this book. Some stories are easy to share. Others come from seasons that were painful, confusing, and deeply personal. Significance in the Pit was written from one of those seasons. As a teenager I struggled with depression and thoughts of suicide. But God had a different plan for my life. What felt like the lowest place in my life became the place where healing began, where my faith was rebuilt, and where purpose slowly started to take shape. That journey is what eventually led to the work we’re doing today through Well Valley. Tomorrow I will be releasing the digital PDF version of my book, Significance in the Pit. I’m sharing this story now because the heart behind our workshops isn’t just about business or publishing. It’s about helping people discover that their story has value. The experiences you’ve walked through — the hard seasons, the lessons, the growth — can become the very thing that helps someone else find hope, clarity, and direction. Your story may feel ordinary to you. But the truth is, God often uses the places that felt the hardest to prepare the message that will serve others. If you’ve ever wondered whether your story matters… This book is where that conversation begins. Thank you for being part of the Well Valley community and walking this journey with me. With purpose, |
