As we step into a new year, one thing keeps rising to the surface: Not urgency. Obedience. Most of what God builds in our lives starts with small, faithful steps—often quiet, often slow, often unseen. That’s true in our homes. There’s a reason the tortoise is one of the oldest living creatures to survive far beyond prehistoric times. Slow. Steady. Faithful. Still here. The tortoise and the hare story wasn’t about speed. So here’s the question for this season: Because we don’t want to just start strong—we want to finish the race, and be found doing exactly what God asked us to do. Whether that looks like:
