What guru's won't tell you!

Hey Reader,

I hope you’re having a blessed start to your week 💛

If you don’t mind… I wanted to kick it old school for a moment and give you a behind-the-scenes look at what building this actually looked like—because truthfully, this is the part most “gurus” overcomplicate… and leave God out of completely.

If you’re new here, let me tell you something real—

I didn’t wake up one day and decide,
“I’m going to become an entrepreneur and help people build businesses.”

No.

I was sitting on my couch… breastfeeding my son…
and had a thought that didn’t come from me:

“Leave your job and raise your babies.”

And if I’m being honest? I was disobedient at first.
I left one job… but kept my part-time counseling position—just in case.

(We love a backup plan more than we love full surrender sometimes… let’s be real.)

But over time, God made it clear—

This wasn’t about a job.
This was about obedience.

So I want you to hear me clearly:

Well Valley, LLC didn’t come from a cookie-cutter “how to make 10k” system.

It came from:

  • Journaling
  • Starting my podcast
  • Serving people consistently
  • Hosting workshops in local community centers
  • Writing my first manuscript
  • And choosing—daily—to start my day with Jesus

That’s the foundation.

Not trends.
Not algorithms.
Not strategy first.

Obedience first.

So whether you’ve been joining me on Wednesdays for workshops,
you’re inside the Biz Collective working on your story and business foundation,
or you’re building your message and YouTube channel inside Authority Builder…

I want to show you what this actually looks like behind the scenes.

Here’s a glimpse into my prayer and journaling from today:

✍️ Journal Entry – 4/7/2026

Your routine must match your season.

There comes a point where you can’t keep following the structure of other people’s lives and still expect to walk in what God has called you to do.

At some point… you have to come out from among them and lead.

But when does that actually begin?

For me, I realized it even in school. There was a form of leadership—but it was still rooted in control. You could only move forward if you fit their narrative.

And that made me ask:
What does God actually require?

Scripture says there is a form of godliness that denies its power (2 Timothy 3:5).

That means it’s possible to look right… sound right… even build something that appears “blessed”—
but never actually be transformed.

Because transformation requires application.
Not performance.

Think about it like this—
When you apply for a job, you present your best version. Sometimes people even stretch the truth to look qualified.

But in the Kingdom?

You’re not sent because you can recite Scripture.
You’re sent because you’ve lived it.

“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2)

That transformation becomes your qualification.

So if you feel called to lead, coach, mentor, or build a business…

It has nothing to do with being the most visible.
Or the most profitable.
Or the most polished.

It has everything to do with your fruit.

Because not everything that makes money carries the Spirit of God.

In Acts 16, Paul cast a spirit of divination out of a woman who was making money for her masters.

She was profitable.
But she wasn’t free.

And when the spirit left her—
the people who benefited from her bondage got angry.

That should tell you something.

Not every successful system is sent by God.

So the real question is:

Is what you’re building setting people free…
or just producing results?

Paul was a tentmaker filled with the Holy Spirit—
sent to set captives free.

That’s the model.

So I’ll leave you with this:

How is your life, your business, and your story helping carry the Gospel into places it hasn’t reached yet?
