Looking for real-life connection, consistent community, and safe spaces to gather with other like-minded families?

You’re invited to join us for Homeschool Connect Days — a bi-weekly meet-up hosted by Angelica Stanley + Well Valley, LLC.

✨ What It Is:

Every other Friday (starting September 12, 2025), we’ll meet up in local parks, nature spots, and learning-friendly places to connect, play, and build a faith-led community for our families.

These gatherings are:
✅ Free to attend (minor fees for entrances etc.)
✅ No strings attached​
✅ All ages welcome​
✅ Rooted in faith, family, and fellowship

Whether you're brand new to homeschooling or have been on this journey for years — this is your space.

📅 Here’s Our Fall/Winter 2025 Meetup Schedule

All meetups are Fridays at 10:30 AM, unless otherwise noted. These events are free to attend, just bring your own snacks, water, and whatever your family needs to enjoy the day!

Sept 12 – Tingley Beach – Kickoff Picnic & Water Walk

📍 Meet near the ponds | Bring a blanket or chairs
Let’s gather to start the year! Enjoy a light nature walk and connect over lunch outdoors.

Sept 26 – North Domingo Baca Park – Sports & Games Day

📍 Shaded picnic area near the playground
Bring balls, hula hoops, or just come to play and connect. Fun for all ages!

Oct 10 – A Park Above (Rio Rancho) – Color Walk & Playground Picnic

📍 Meet near the main playground
We’ll do a simple color scavenger hunt and enjoy the views and play structures.

Oct 24 – Rio Grande Nature Center – Animal Tracks & Nature Hunt

📍 2901 Candelaria Rd NW (Entry + parking fee may apply)
Explore the bosque trails, look for animal signs, and connect in nature.
​A guided tour may be available — more info to come!

Nov 7 – Explora – STEAM & Imagination Play

📍 Meet outside in the plaza, 1701 Mountain Rd NW
Families may enter using the ​ABC Library Museum Pass​​
Explore hands-on exhibits, do a build challenge, or just enjoy connecting.

Nov 21 – Mariposa Basin Park – Gratitude Art Day

📍 Westside ABQ, near playground & shade area
Kids will create “I’m thankful for…” cards or drawings — bring paper, markers, and snacks!

Dec 5 – Balloon Museum – Science of Flight Day

📍 9201 Balloon Museum Dr NE, ABQ
Enjoy free admission on the first Friday of the month!
Discover the history of ballooning and aviation through fun, hands-on exhibits.

Dec 19 – Christmas Advent Celebration – Light of the World Gathering

📍 Indoor Location: TBA (Church Fellowship Hall)​
Bring a holiday snack to share and an ornament (1 per child) for a gentle exchange.
🎄 We'll enjoy Advent stories, sing carols, and create “Light of the World” ornaments to remember the true reason for the season — Jesus.

Some gatherings will have light themed activities like color scavenger hunts, seasonal crafts, or gratitude art days — but no prep is needed. Just bring your snacks, your kiddos, and come as you are.
